Thomas Markle said he just wants an answer when he opened up today in an exclusive interview with 60 Minutes Australia.
The Duchess of Sussex’s estranged dad sat down on the programme and spoke about how he feels about the way his daughter treated him and how Prince Harry is treating his father and the Queen.
During the chat, he said he and his no longer speak, but expressed how he isn’t bitter, but “confused”.
“If I had done something terribly wrong that would be fine, but I haven’t,
“I just want an answer,” he pleaded.
He then went on to talk about the way that Prince Harry is treating his own family, as he shared: “Meghan did it to me and now Harry’s done it to his father. That’s a cold thing to do.”

“It’s even more cold to do it to the Queen who is in her nineties.”
“None of this makes sense.”
When the interviewer asked Thomas whether he thinks it’s possible that he is to blame, Thomas said: “If I am then tell me why or how and I will fix it, or try to fix it. But I don’t know why or how.”

When Meghan, his daughter, was due to marry Prince Harry in 2018, Thomas Markle was the subject of media speculation.
In 2018 before the Royal wedding between his daughter and Harry, it was revealed that Thomas had staged photos for a paparazzi photographer in return for money.
Thomas didn’t attend the wedding as he was recovering from heart surgery and he claimed he didn’t want to cause the couple embarrassment.

One month after his daughter’s wedding and his heart surgery, Thomas appeared on Good Morning Britain in June 2018 where he discussed his personal relationship with the Duchess.
In another interview with The Mail on Sunday in July 2018, Markle said that his daughter “[would] be nothing without me. I made her the Duchess she is today”.
He has since stated that he does not expect to see Meghan ever again but still hopes for reconciliation one day.
