Kerry Katona has revealed that her daughter Heidi has come home from schools in floods of tears after she was picked on because of her famous mum.
The former Atomic Kitten singer, 40, has opened up about her daughter’s experience at her new school since they moved to Cheshire earlier this year.
Since the blonde bombshell made the decision to move up north, the family have struggled to settle in to their new life together.
And now, the mum-of-five has admitted her 14-year-old daughter has received horrific abuse from some of her fellow students in her weekly column in New magazine.
Kerry admitted: “She’s made some good friends but some of the boys have been horrible to her.
“They were teasing her about me and saying some really crude things just because I’m in the public eye.
“She came home in tears. It’s disgusting. It’s hard enough moving away, never made having to deal with that.”
After her awful ordeal, the star has admitted that she has considered moving Heidi to a private all-girls school where her older sisters Molly, 19, and Lilly, 18, went when they were her age.
The doting mum shares her daughter Heidi and 13-year-old son Max with her ex-Mark Croft, as well as her two eldest daughters Molly and Lilly with Westlife’s Brian McFadden.
Kerry is also mum to her youngest son, seven-year-old Dylan-Jorge from her marriage to her late rugby player husband George Kay.
This comes after the TV personality admitted that she does not own the sprawling £2million mansion despite sharing how she had stared a “new chapter” in her life when she got the keys.
Kerry had previously been showing off her glorious Cheshire mansion to her loyal legion of fans online, who formerly believed she owned the property.
Despite her announcement that she had purchased the four-bedroom house back in May, the sale unfortunately fell through at the last minute and has forced her and her family to find another home.
But while she starts house hunting again, the Eternal Flame singer has decided to continue to rent the mansion in Alderly Edge after she signed a hefty six-month contract.
Kerry has yet to reveal where the happy family will be moving to later on this year but fans are hopeful that she will find her forever home soon after she proudly clawed her way out of bankruptcy in 2008.
