Hollyoaks actress Katie McGlynn posed up a storm on Instagram ahead of her Strictly Come Dancing debut next month against her pro dancer “ex” Giovanni Pernice.
The 28-year-old looked stunning as ever as she shared a snap wearing a full face of natural makeup before a full day’s work on the set of the Cheshire-based soap.
The brunette beauty rocked her natural summer glam as she opted for a glowy foundation with a hint of blush on the apples of her cheeks.
Katie perfected her well-groomed brows and added a summery pink lip gloss to bring a touch of colour back into her dark ensemble as she rocked up to set in a simple black sleeveless top teamed with a pair of black skinny jeans.

The northern lass styled her honey blonde hair in loose waves which framed her gorgeous oval face and accentuated her golden summer tan from August’s sizzling heatwaves.
And the Lancashire native made sure to bat her long luscious lashes to the camera after she added a swipe of mascara to complete the look.
This comes after the Rochdale lass, who is currently playing the role of Becky Quentin in the Channel 4 soap, announced she would be joining the hit dance competition against her former flame.

As Katie gets her sweat on in the gym in preparation for her glittering Strictly experience, professional dancer Giovanni has confirmed his relationship with Love Island star Maura Higgins.
The pair made things official recently when the 30-year-old Irish belle dubbed her Italian boyfriend “my man” on her Instagram stories.
Katie and Giovanni reportedly dated back in 2017 but it is unknown how long the pair were together for.

Her casting comes as Strictly sources are reportedly anguishing over the decision of whether to pair up Katie and Giovanni, with concerns about Maura’s reaction at the forefront of their minds.
An insider told New magazine how Maura has had a discussion about his flirtatious ways ahead of the pairing ceremony set to air in September.
The source said: “Maura was understandably apprehensive at the reports that Giovanni cold be put with Katie, given their history.
“Not because she doesn’t trust Giovanni, but because she knows rumours could swirl about the Strictly curse striking – and he knows viewers will be keeping a close eye on Giovanni and Katie’s chemistry and how close they seem.”
