Hollyoaks spoilers: Summer returns for revenge, McQueen bombshell and double exit teased

Hollyoaks villain Summmer Ranger (Rhiannon Clements). returns to the village in upcoming scenes set to air next week.

A frustrated Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) struggles to focus on work as she can’t get on-the-run Summer out of her mind, and Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) encourages her to confide in Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward), the only other person who understands what she’s going through.

An incident occurs making Sienna not want to return to school, but Liberty offers her some words of wisdom.

Later, DS Cohen has a new development in the Summer case.

After hearing the shocking news that Summer’s body has potentially been found, Sienna musters the courage to go to the hospital alone to confirm it’s her.

Against Sienna’s wishes, Liberty tells Brody about the latest development, and he goes to support her, as they both have a mutual hope that they can be free from her.

However, after viewing her body, they realise that it’s not her, and Brody shifts his anger towards Sienna.

Later, after a talk with Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts), Brody comes to a realisation, but ends up getting the wrong end of the stick after a drunken Warren implies that he slept with Sienna.

A grounded Leah Barnes tries to get revenge on Liberty by telling Ste Hay (Kieron RIchardson) that she spotted Summer at school, and, when the police are notified, the lie results in bickering Brody and Sienna being forced to spend time together in a safe house.

The former lovers have a heart to heart, and a happy ending could be on the horizon, but unbeknownst to them, Summer is lurking in the shadows.

As reunited Brody and Sienna get the green light to return home, Sienna is confronted with her worst fear, an armed Summer.

She is held at gunpoint on a cliff edge as Brody pleads for her life to be spared, and emotions are high when he offers Summer a proposition.

In tense scenes, Brody goes to extreme lengths to protect Sienna, and Summer goes back on her word, with life-threatening consequences.

The village residents’ try to come to terms with the consequences of life-altering events.

One resident goes to extreme lengths to ensure justice is served, and another struggles to cope with mounting guilt.

Elsewhere, Goldie McQueen (Chelsee Healey) is in full wedding planning mode as she has a tonne of idea’s for her son Prince’s (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) big day, but little does she know that he is hiding a big secret.

His fiancée Olivia (Emily Burnett) encourages him to come clean to his mum, but will he?

Also, a newly motivated Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) meets with Fergus Collins (Robert Beck) as the pair set their sights on The Hutch.

However, their new target proves difficult when Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) refuses to sell to them, not wanting his beloved bistro to go to two dodgy landlords.

They realise they must make amends with Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi), fearing she is spreading a bad word about them, but will she accept their apologies.

Later, panic-stricken Timmy Simons has some big news for Fergus.

Fergus tells Warren that their business in the verge of collapse, but offers a solution which is far from above board, but will Warren risk losing his children again.

Fergus has a proposition for Trish Minniver (Denise Welch), as he plans to leave the village for good.

Trish spills the beans to daughter Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) about her and Fergus’ plans to leave the village.

Later, a drunken Warren wants a second chance with Maxine, but can they make amends?

Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first-look episode on E4 at 7pm
