Dancer George Sampson stole the hearts of the nation when he was crowned the winner of Britain’s Got Talent in 2008.
Just 14 years old at the time, the talented star wowed viewers with his impressive dance skills as well as his lovable personality.
Once the popular ITV show came to an end, George resumed life as normal and headed back to school.
However, the young star was inundated with opportunities and he certainly ensured he made use of his new found fame as much as possible.
George went on to appear in West End hip hop show, Into The Hoods and he also starred in the sixth series of BBC’s Waterloo Road.
Although his career was flourishing, things began to slow down for the young star and he started to experience hair loss in his early twenties.
Now at 28, George looks incredibly different to his former BGT self.
Ditching his sweet boy next door looks, the dancer is now sporting huge tattoos on both arms.
Earlier this year, George took to Instagram to showcase his new inking to fans on his left arm.
The tat includes images – of what appears to be himself – strutting his stuff on the dancefloor.
He’s also spruced up his locks and has had three hair transplants to achieve a fuller barnet.
In 2008, George appeared on ITV’s This Morning to discuss his third hair transplant.
Speaking candidly to presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes about his cosmetic procedure at the time, the performer said: “I’m so happy. It’s difficult. I still get hundreds of men messaging me about it.
“I felt like an old man with a baby face, I had to wake up and look in the mirror and think I hate my hairline.”
When asked about how low he felt when he realised he was loosing his hair at a young age, George explained: “I wasn’t that bad, I still wanted to work in TV and do all these amazing things and I had a baby face and it affected my work…
“I’ve had a lot of men messaging me saying they’re low and feeling depressed because of it.
“It was nice they could come to me, so its been a real shock for me to listen to these guys.
“I try to help them as much as I can”.
The Waterloo road star also confessed that footballer Wayne Rooney inspired him to undergo the procedure as he also had a hair transplant at 25.
“Wayne Rooney – he was 25 [when he had the hair transplant]. He gave me a lot of confidence.”
In September, professional dancer George performed in hit musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
Feeling grateful, the star took to Instagram and penned: “Back in rehearsals Monday morning to crack the fuck back on with our beautiful tour of this amazing show.
“I can’t begin to tell you how excited, nervous, and so READY I am to get stuck back in and start giving it full beans on stage all over the country.
“If you haven’t got tickets already, then you should, because EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE.”
