I'm a Celeb start date: ITV show 'set to start in just two weeks time'

I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! Is set to return to our screen in just two weeks time, it has been reported.

According to The Sun, the hit ITV reality show is set to launch on Sunday 21 November as this year’s mystery celebrity line up prepare to set up camp in the grounds of Gwrych Caste.

The publication announced the news on Tuesday as fans eagerly await the start of the new series once more.

If the date – given by an inside source – proves to be true, it means fans will have a matter of days to wait before they will be reunited with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly once again.

As excited as fans are, viewers are still anxious to find out who the star-studded line up of this year’s contestants will be while rumours continue to swirl around fan theories online.

Like last year, the show was forced to abandon their usual Australian camp due to the ongoing effects of the global pandemic.

But fans hope this series will be more intense series than as Covid-19 restrictions continue to ease across the UK.

Fans are still waiting for a confirmation from ITV producers for the official date before they mark their calendars.

It comes after ITV producers dropped the latest teaser trailer for the upcoming series online which saw the hit double act dressed as knights in shining armour complete with chainmail and a cloak.

The clip sees the beloved Geordie hammering away as his trusty side kick lent a helping hand as the pair worked “tirelessly” to prepare for the bushtucker trials.

As the pair exchange their usual cheeky banter, Dec proudly held up one of the show’s infamous gold stars which celebrities can win if they complete the task.

The hit reality show will take place for three weeks in the run up to Christmas where viewers can vote for their favourite celebrity to be crowned the next King of Queen of the castle.

Last year, Giovanna Fletcher took home the crown as she pipped runners up Jordan North and Vernon Kay to the top spot inside the castle.
