Inside Emmerdale Nicola Wheeler's home – smart kitchen, cosy fireplace and beekeeping

Nicola Wheeler is very familiar to TV viewers, thanks to her long stint in Emmerdale.

The actress stars, 48, as Nicola King and has been a regular on the much-loved ITV soap for more than 20 years.

She’s been a big hit with viewers and over the years has found herself up for a fair few Best Villain and Best B**ch gongs for her alter ego’s antics.

But when she’s not busy in the Dales, where does Nicola hang out?

Well, the star has a gorgeous home in Yorkshire and occasionally gives her fans on social media a little glimpse at it.

Bright and airy kitchen

Nicola previously showed fans a little bit of her kitchen when she shared a snap of some festive treats.

The image posted on Twitter was of a gorgeous white-tiled room, with gleaming white countertops and a modern black hob.

The sideboard was festooned with Christmassy gingerbread and cupcakes and a spray of greenery covered in red berries.

Other shots of Nicola’s kitchen have revealed that in some areas she has stunning marble worktops.

They could be seen in one photo of tasty-looking platters of sushi.

Cosy fireplace

One thing we do know is that the ITV star has a cosy place to warm up when she’s been out and about or shooting in the chillier months of the year.

A picture on Twitter once showed the lovely cast iron fireplace nestled in a brick alcove, which looks like the perfect spot to curl up with a book.

Beekeeping in her back garden

Nicola – who has a son named Jude – is actually a keen beekeeper in her spare time, so we are guessing she has some outdoor space for her to pursue her hobby.

The actress has previously shared a picture of her all dressed up in her white beekeeping outfit as she spends some time with her bees.

Tweeting about her hobby last year, she told fans: “Just put my honey bees to bed for winter. I mean they’ll all keep buzzing and doing their thing until nature tells them to stay indoors, but I won’t interfere until spring. Really calm hive – not one sting this year and lots of honey. Thanks, girls.”

Ghostly presence?

Nicola believes her stunning home may be haunted

The actress has previously teased that her home may have been haunted.

Last year she said on Loose Women that she had a “mischievous ghost” causing havoc for a bit.

The actress apparently ran it past her Emmerdale co-star Sam Giles, who agreed that she could sense some sort of “stale energy” in the house.
