Coronation Street viewers seem to think Phill Whittaker could be up to something sinister as he continues to get close to Tyrone Dobbs.
Phil was left absolutely heartbroken when Fiz decided that she no longer wanted to be married to him hours after she said “I do”.
Trying to win her back, Phill told Fiz that he wouldn’t be able to cope knowing Tyrone was the cause of their break up, leading Fiz to quickly lie on the reason why she decided to part ways.
But since Fiz and Tyrone are continuing to cover their tracks and Phill playing at the pair’s heart strings, viewers think that Phill could be up to more than he’s currently letting on.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “I’d love it if Phil is playing Tyrone and Fiz at their own game. We are overdue for another Phil and Tyrone cat fight.”
Another shared: “I think Phill knows Tyrone and Fiz are back together. I think he’s playing them both.”
A third penned: “Anyone else think phill knows about Tyrone and fizz and he’s playing them.”
While a fourth chimed: “Convinced Phill knows about Fizz and Tyrone and has a dastardly plan up his sleeve.”
But others seemed to think it was “childish” that Tyrone and Fiz haven’t told Phill about their relationship yet.
One social media user wrote: “Fiz and Tyrone need to grow up and tell Phill that they are back together bc it’s getting childish now they are acting like bloody teenagers sneaking around.”
Phill and Tyrone’s relationship hasn’t always been smooth sailing as Tyrone has often made it hard for Phill to develop his connection with Fiz, resulting in their split.
But during the latest episode, the two men, who previously had a fight in wet clay, seemed to be getting on rather well, so much so that Phill told Tyrone to join him in his honeymoon suite.
As the two men enjoyed their lad’s trip away from the street, viewers seemed to enjoy the scenes too.
One person penned: “Sorry this thing with Phill and Tyrone is very very funny.”
While another shared: “I’m loving this Phill and Tyrone storyline!”
