Christine McGuinnes s has hinted at past marriage problems, saying she “wouldn’t put up with” the things she “might have put up with in the past”.
The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star has spoken openly about her current difficulties with husband Paddy McGuinness and once again made it clear they’re not because of her.
The blonde bombshell, who has been with Paddy for 15 years, with 11 of those married, was just 19 when she met the comedian at a bikini fashion show.

But recent reports have suggested some struggles in the marriage, which Christine and Paddy are trying to work through privately.

Speaking to The Sun, Christine has made her stance clear yet again, saying: “This situation at the minute… I don’t want to go into it too much, but I will just say that I didn’t cause this situation.”
She went on: “I think you’ve got to expect it [ups and downs] when you’ve been together for so long. Everyone grows and changes, and we’ve grown as a family, which is amazing. You know, that family bond will always be there, no matter what.

“But I was a teenager when I met him and I’m a 34-year-old woman now, so I suppose what I might have put up with in the past, I probably wouldn’t put up with now – and the same for him.”
Christine previously suggested Paddy was to blame for whatever they are going through with a cryptic post on Instagram.
Speaking of the press reports that she and Paddy were having struggles, she said: “There is only one thing I want to make clear right now. I didn’t put us in this situation.”

At the start of the month, Christine and Paddy were seen looking tense after returning from separate holidays.
Paddy had gone on a trip to Portugal, while Christine went on a girls only holiday to Croatia.
It’s not the first time the couple has been through tough times, as Paddy was seen looking close to All Saints member Nicole Appleton back in 2018.

At the time, Christine left their Cheshire home and went to stay at her grandparents’ home in Blackpool where her nan gave her some solid marriage advice.
It also motivated her to create a work life of her own, and she would join The Real Housewives of Cheshire in a friend role in the same year.
But it was opening up about her twins’ autism diagnosis that would change her life, as she got more and more work relating to life as a parent of autistic children.
And during filming for a documentary on their family, Christine was also diagnosed as autistic.
