Although he was the first to be voted off the 2018 series, his short lived time on the series meant that his average earnings on I’m a Celeb! worked out to be £2777.78 per hour.
Following behind him was Katie Price, who appeared on I’m A Celeb in both 2004 and 2009 and was reportedly paid a total fee of £450k.
Although she quit the show after being repeatedly nominated by the public for the bushtucker trials, Katie still earnt an average of £2678.57 per hour.
Making up the top three earners was 2021 contestant Richard Madeley, who was paid £200k to take part and earnt an average of £1,666.67 per hour, despite being voted off first.
Following behind Richard were Caitlyn Jenner, who despite being the second highest earner of all time with a fee of £500k, made less per hour than Richard Madeley as she had a longer stint on the show.
However, she still earned a jaw-dropping £1,041.67 per hour.
Even being King Of The Jungle might not mean you make as much money per hour too, with Harry Redknapp receiving a £500k fee, but earning an average of £946.97 per hour.
Joining them in sixth and seventh place were Ian Wright, who made an average of £925.93 per hour with a £400k fee, and Amir Khan who was paid £400k, and made £833.33 per hour.
Completing the top ten were Adam Woodyatt, Mo Farah and Vernon Kay, who made £744.05, £694.44 and £520.83 respectively, after Adam and Vernon received fees of £250k and Mo was paid a £300k fee.
Speaking about the findings, John Stirzaker, online consumer expert at NetVoucherCodes.co.uk said: “While many are aware that celebrities walk away with a big paycheck from taking part in the show, we’ve found the number to be quite staggering once broken down into an hourly rate.
“It’s one of the most popular shows for people to watch, drawing in over 7.5 million viewers across its latest season in 2021. No wonder celebrities are being paid big bucks to take part in the experience.
“Famous football legends and Eastenders icons have earned over £250,000 by being part of the show, even if they’re the first to be eliminated out of the line-up.”
With the new series of I’m a Celeb! set to land on ITV this Sunday (October 6), viewers will have to wait and see how much the stars earn from their stints this year.
