BBC Breakfast star Nina Warhurst clapped back after a social media user left nasty comments under one of her posts.
On Tuesday’s episode of the morning programme, the broadcaster ventured to a theatre in the heart of Blackburn where she met the cast of Cinderella, before getting herself more involved in the production than she first thought.
After interviewing one of the actors, the presenter wound up with her head a guillotine before a faux saw was slammed down on her head.

Later, Jon Kay took to his Twitter account to share a clip of the stunt alongside the caption: “We can confirm that no Ninas were harmed in the making of this programme.”
It wasn’t long before Nina re-shared the tweet on her account and was met with plenty of responses from fans who praised her “down to earth” nature that comes across on screen.
However, one user sadly took the opportunity to insult the newsreader’s appearance as opposed to seeing the light-hearted side of things.
The nasty comment said: “Nina you looked dreadful this morning. Please start wearing a fitting bra…”
The mum-of-two clapped back as she wrote: “Just leaving Alfred’s incredibly useful and progressive feedback here.
She added: “Deepest thanks to all the Alfreds. Women would be lost without you.”
Many of Nina’s followers flocked to the comments to share their support after reading the spiteful remark.
A colleague of Nina’s said: “Well said Nina!! I had similar feedback yesterday and so I am now “searching for a personality”. Where to find one of those….maybe there is a special school.
“There really are some dreadful people in this world and Alfred is clearly one of them. Great response Nina, and just keep on as you are, looking lovely while doing a fabulous job, those that matter appreciate you, and those that don’t don’t matter,” added a second.
Echoing these thoughts, another penned: “Take no notice @NinaWarhurst. You always look fantastic whether you are on the sofa as a main presenter or giving the financial news from the side or even wearing the Hi-Viz jacket and Hard Hat on in a market or a building site. You always look fantastic.”
