Shirley Ballas snaps as she's brutally heckled by Strictly guest after remarks to Helen

Strictly Come Dancing star Shirley Ballas hit back at a heckling audience member – by inviting them to come up and face her.

The fiesty judge was delivering her verdict on the performance she had just watched when one individual in the crowd started booing her opinions on Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez’s dance.

Shirley then stunned viewers as she stopped and turned her head to see who had interrupted her – and called them out for the move.

One wrote: “Shirley inviting the audience member who booed her to come up? Incredible scenes.”

Other viewers agreed as they commented on the dramatic moment and gave their take.

A second said: “Shirley taking no prisoners there is she, she’s definitely had enough of it now.”

A third continued: “Hahaha go on Shirley you give it back as good as you get it.”

Shirley has previously admitted that the live final could bring a few surprises for the audience.

Speaking to Daily Star at the TV Choice Awards last month, Shirley said: “I wouldn’t like to predict this one.

“We’ve had everybody at the top, at the middle and at the bottom. There might be a few surprises I think.”

It comes after Shirley opened up on some Strictly backstage secrets – including sneaking into contestants’ dressing rooms.

She said: “My day starts by washing my hair and letting it dry naturally. It’s a kind of a bit of a good look thing for me.

“I check to see what Motsi’s [Mabuse] wearing and start picking dresses.

“I’ve also started sneaking into their contestants’ dressing rooms to see if they are keeping it tidy.”

Strictly bosses have been accused of being out of step by fans over “unfair” dances that could decide the winners because they have “fewer rules” than traditional ballroom routines.

Many viewers have hit out as three out of the four finalists have picked to perform a Couple’s Choice routine in a bid with win the show.
