The Traitors star shares 'weird' fan phone call which caused his mum to almost crash car

BBC’s The Traitors winner Aaron Evans has revealed a rather weird fan encounter that left his mum nearly crashing their car.

The 24-year-old property agent chatted exclusively to the Daily Star after the show finale was aired last night (December 22).

When asked if he’s had any bizarre fan encounters, he said: “You wouldn’t even want to know, it’s so weird, I’m not going to say what… but I had to turn my no-caller ID off.

“I was in the car with my mum as well and she almost crashed the car as well, it was so weird.

“My number was on my old work page, it’s gone now, but it was just a bit weird.”

Talking further about becoming a fan favourite amongst viewers, he added: “I don’t think I stole everyone’s hearts, I think it’s more my trousers have.”

Aaron then referred to fans commenting on his tight trousers that he kept wearing on the show.

The TV star continued: “The only reason I did that is because I didn’t think I was going to make a whole week of the show.

“So, I only packed for a week, so I had to keep recycling the same trousers but now they’re a bit of a statement piece so I’m just running with it.”

The show has proved mega-popular with viewers and offered the winners a whopping prize fund of £101,050.

Aaron split this with two of his co-stars and revealed what he will be spending his hard-earned cash on.

The handsome contestant added: “So, I’m going to give my mum like the 30k and then take two or 3k myself and I will go travelling in the new year around Asia.”

But would he like to do any other TV shows – like Love Island perhaps?

“I am not doing that, I am not sure if anything comes my way I would deffo do TV again but I don’t know if I’m cut out for that. But any other reality TV shows I’d definitely be up for.”
