EastEnders fans were left laughing at Phil Mitchell as he and fiancée Kat Slater endured an awkward lunch with the Panesar’s.
Tensions were brewing from the moment Phil and Kat entered the Panesar household, with Nish making a comment about Phil’s decision not to drink anymore.
“You don’t look like a non-drinker,” he quipped.

Sitting down for dinner, Kat removed her jacket, but fans realised that Phil didn’t take his iconic leather bomber off at all throughout the meal.
Despite the lunch meeting being short, with Phil and Nish quickly making a decision about ownerships of the chicken shops, fans were uncontrollably laughing at Phil’s odd habit.
“Phil looks like he’s getting ready to do a runner with his coat still on,” one laughed.
A second wrote: “Phil’s kept his coat on for lunch, he ain’t planning on staying long,” followed by a crying-laughing emoji.
A third put: “Phil Mitchell eats a curry In a leather coat. He must be boiling.”
“Phil’s head is going to blow when he tastes that vindaloo!” another joked.
Meanwhile others couldn’t bare how awkward the mean between the rivals was, with one viewer tweeting: “Awkward lunch between Nish, Suki, Phil and Kat.”
After the deal was done, fans cringed at how long their business together would last.
“Phil and Nish working together … Let’s see how long this lasts,” one viewer wrote.
“Nish & Phil working together… Ugh,” a second put.
Phil was after Nish’s ownership of the chicken shops in and around Albert Square, but it seems that Phil had conned Nish.
“When Suki finds out worthless chicken shops go mental. Will Nish snap cause so far she’s dangerously emasculated the so called controller in business, undermining him & shouting alot, he sometimes talks back angrily. Yet still not as angry as Phil on average day,” one fan suggested.
