Outrageous Osbourne moments – urinating on Alamo, vagina doctor and drugging vicar

Ozzy Osbourne, his wife Sharon and their children Jack and Kelly kicked off their reality TV show 21 years ago on March 2, 2002.

The MTV series, titled The Osbournes, followed the lives of the chaotic family and the first series was cited as the most-viewed series ever on MTV.

Their daughter Aimee refused to appear on the programme, which ran four seasons over five years, and publicly criticised her parents for their antics on the show.

The series also followed the family as they dealt with major events such as Sharon’s battle with cancer and the aftermath of an ATV accident that nearly killed Ozzy.

Daily Star has taken a look back at a few of the family’s most outrageous moments over the years on and off camera.

After a few too many drinks in Texas, Ozzy decided to take one of his drunken walks.

The habit became so common that Sharon hid all his clothes to stop him from doing it.

He got changed into one of Sharon’s dresses, left the house and needed to empty his bladder.

Ozzy found the nearest statue and relived himself.

What he didn’t know was that he was standing near the Cenotaph, located directly next to the Alamo building.

The police did not take kindly to urinating on such a memorial and reportedly arrested Ozzy, along with a ban from San Antonio that lasted until 1992.

Speaking to GQ, Ozzy recalled the time he inadvertently drugged a vicar.

He explained that the situation unfolded after he’d gone to the pub and returned after a “few days”.

“I’d bought some hash and I’d made a cake with it,”Osbourne said at the time.

“I put it in a tin and went to the pub and I said to my ex-wife, ’Don’t let anybody eat this f***ing cake. It will be bad.’.

“Anyway, I came back from the pub a few days later and I did a double-take, because the vicar was in our house, having a cup of tea in the kitchen with a piece of this cake.

“I hadn’t got a driving licence, but he was slumped in my kitchen, so I had to drag him out by his hair, push him in the back of his car, drive him to his door and then walk home.”

Ozzy become concerned after not setting eyes on the vicar for two weeks but he seen him later in the week.

“I must have caught such a dreadful flu at yours. I hallucinated for three days and had to miss church,” the vicar said.

During an episode of The Osbournes, Kelly moaned to her dad that older sister Aimee was trying to wade in on her life, by booking her an appointment with a gynaecologist, as well as a dentist and sorting out her new car.

‘”My teeth, my car, my vagina, my business,” Kelly angrily told Ozzy.

Ozzy was on hand with some hilarious advice, telling his daughter:”‘All you have to do is say ‘F**k off’ when the vagina doctor calls”.

But he quickly becomes suspicious, asking: “You haven’t been playing doctors and nurses have you?”

“I used to get fat shamed by my brother,” she previously revealed on The View.

“My weight has always [gone up and down], and that’s it,” added Sharon as she opened up about her body insecurities.

David went on to accuse his sister of lying while also comparing her to Dracula and Hitler.

During a performance in 1982, a fan in the audience threw something at the stage for the rocker.

Ozzy picked it up and, assuming it was a toy bat, took a massive bite out of it.

He soon spat it out after realising it was actually a dead bat.

He talks about this in his memoirs, where he said the bat gave him “the worst aftertaste you could ever imagine”.

Just to be safe, he got rabies shots afterwards.

He marked the 37-year anniversary of the bite in 2019 by releasing a plush toy bat, complete with a branded ‘Ozzy Osbourne stamp and a detachable head.
