Former Emmerdale star Ursula Holden-Gill looks completely different to her character Alice Dingle 17 years after her tragic soap exit.
The actress joined the cast as Alice in 2004 and played the role for two years before the character was killed off in a heartbreaking cancer storyline.
Alice married Sam Dingle and Emmerdale fans were thrilled when she fell pregnant, but the couple’s lives were shattered when they discovered Alice had cancer.

The doting mum refused to terminate her pregnancy in order to start chemotherapy and welcomed a son, Samson in 2006.
By the time Alice started her treatment, she realised it was too late and came to the gut-wrenching decision to end her own life rather than struggle with the pain of her illness.
Sam helped his wife die by giving her an overdose of morphine and Alice passed away with her husband and son by her side.
Nearly two decades later, Ursula looks completely different to her Emmerdale days where she would typically sport a short crop of fiery red hair.
Now, the ex-soap star opts for a slightly longer hairstyle, with her light tresses grazing her chin.
The former actress made plenty of appearances in other TV shows, including The Bill, Holby City and Channel 4 series, Teachers.
After departing Emmerdale, Ursula starred as Miss Miss Fitzgerald in CBBC series Wolfblood from 2012 until 2014.
The West Yorkshire-born star has now officially quit acting, with her last on-screen role coming as a Clerk in the TV mini-series, In the Dark in 2017.
Now, Ursula has a different career entirely as she is a dramatherapist.
Prior to this, she worked as a full-time storyteller and in 2012, was voted Best Newcomer at The British Awards for Storytelling excellence.
Ursula’s website describes her as a “unique force in storytelling”, and reveals the former ITV star now pursues it for pleasure and as part of her professional development.
