Emmerdale viewers have been left frustrated after they urged Leyla Cavanagh to call the police when she received threatening information which could leave Suzy Merton’s life in serious danger.
The tension was escalating on Tuesday night’s show (March 14) as an injured Suzy tried her best to recover in hospital after being attacked by a brick the night before.
As police claimed they received no evidence regarding the attack, Lelya later receives a text message from Callum which read: “R.I.P Suzy.”

With the information in her hand, viewers thought it was best to inform the police but they quickly became disappointed when she appeared to be doing the opposite.
Jumping onto to Twitter, disgruntled fans shared their thoughts.
One viewer said: “Leyla has evidence of Callum’s threats on her phone which she could show the police. Oh hang on, this is a soap isn’t it so common sense doesn’t apply.”
Another penned: “So Suzie can identify Pablo Escobar & Layla has those messages on her phone, does she go to the police? No, she wants to meet him at the bridge!! This a pile of w**k.”
A third shared: “HOW ABOUT YOU JUST TELL THE POLICE.”
While a fourth added: “Surely Leyla has some evidence in those texts that she can take to the police.”
Once Leyla spoke to Caleb Dingle about her worries, the businesswoman thought it was best to take matters into her own hands – which later lead her into further danger.
Meeting Callum on her own, Leyla tried to put an end to their ongoing drug feud.
However after a short exchange of words, Leyla ended up being thrown into the back of Callum’s car and was driven to an unknown location.
But Emmerdale fans were left annoyed by Leyla’s kidnapping too and was confused that she decided to meet Callum by herself.
Heading over to Twitter again, one viewer said: “So in the middle of the country side miles away from anything and anyone is the best place to meet your ex drug dealer who almost killed your son and tried to kill your mate! Ok Leyla!”
While another added: “There is stupid and there is stupid, but what Leyla just did is worse.”
