Kerry Katona’s fans had to do a double take after mistaking her for an Emmerdale star thanks to her new hair transformation.
The 42-year-old showbiz legend is currently touring the UK as part of a theatre production of the fairytale Rapunzel.
In the panto, which is one of many that Kerry has starred in throughout her over-twenty-year-long career, she plays Mother Gothel.

For the villainous role, Kerry has to ditch her signature blonde locks and instead, perform in a long curly dark wig.
And the Atomic Kitten singer recently debuted the look on her Instagram account.
In the snaps, Kerry posed up a storm while sporting the dark new hairdo.

Fans at the time flooded the comments section to gush over her hair transformation, with plenty saying they didn’t recognise her.
While others mistook her for Emmerdale icon Chas Dingle, played by Lucy Pargeter.
“Omg I thought it was Chas off Emmerdale,” proclaimed one follower.
Another added: “First look I thought it was Chas from Emmerdale,” and a third agreed: “I thought it was Chas.”
Kerry’s other fans gushed over her new hair, with one writing: “Dark hair suits you, and you look younger.”
“Really suits you,” said someone else, while a third smitten follower wrote: “Still look gorgeous.”
Kerry is not the only celeb in the panto she’s currently touring, as former EastEnders star Dean Gaffney is playing the Prince – as well as Strictly pro Joanne Clifton who plays the titular role.
It comes after Kerry made a very cheeky confession as she opened up about all of the grim things she had to try on E4 show Celebrity Detox.

The TV star will be starring alongside celebrities such as Love Island stars Megan Barton Hanson and Toby Aromolan.
On the show, the stars will be asked to try the extreme in a bid to try and overhaul their lifestyles to improve their mental and physical well-being.
Poor Kerry had to try some grim challenges such as lying in a grave for a long period of time, and also drinking her own urine.
