The Chase viewers beg ‘please stop’ as they complain about ITV studio 'issue'

The Chase viewers were left fuming at their TV screens on Friday (April 14) and called on bosses to make a major change to the show.

The hit ITV gameshow was back on TV screens on Friday as host Bradley welcomed four new quizzers onto the show looking to bag some serious cash.

As fans tuned in for the primetime programme, the former Corrie star introduced contestants Maryanne, Susan Nadeem before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week the quartet were up against Paul Sinha who made sure to bring his A-game against the wise quizzers.

However, fans couldn’t help getting annoyed at what they believed was canned laughter heard during the show, and they weren’t afraid to vent their frustration.

“The Chase needs to stop with the canned laughter. They don’t even use it at funny moments,” raged one person.

A second said: “Please lose the canned laughter,” with a third quipping: “Not that funny.”

Bradley returned as host

Maryanna, originally from Canada, played first, but her lack ran out in The Chase after being caught by Paul.

Susan, a science teacher from Scotland, was next to playa who managed to bring back £6,000 to the final.

Next up was Nadeem, a dentist and car fanatic, who confidently accepted the middle offer, and made it back to the rest of his team with £2,000 towards the final prize.

Finally it was Malcolm’s turn. The pensioner, who lives in North Wales, was the only player in the game to go for a higher offer.

He smashed the questions with ease, bringing the total prize fund to £60,000.

Tensions were high in The Chase studio

The pressure was on as the team went up against Paul Sinha one more time, desperately hoping for some pushbacks to bag their huge cash prize.

And with 13 questions for the chaser to answer correctly, the tensions were high.

Luckily, team managed to get four pushbacks – two answered correctly and two incorrectly.

However, that wasn’t enough and every player went home empty handed as they lost against Paul.
