EastEnders fans floored as Duncan Boyd looks ‘unrecognisable’ during BBC return

EastEnders fans were left stunned on Tuesday’s episode (April 25) after soap legend Duncan Boyd returned to Walford – and he looked dramatically different.

Fans tuned in to watch the aftermath of Zack’s revelation about his HIV diagnosis in the Vic, where Sharon defended him to punters as she enjoyed a drink with Keanu.

As the two were chatting, Sharon was surprised by the arrival of an old friend, Duncan Boyd, who appeared on the soap 34 years ago.

The Vic punters were reeling after Zack’s announcement, especially Ravi, who feared his customers wouldn’t want an HIV-positive chef cooking for them.

Zack was furious and quit, while incensed Felix tore into Harvey and Mitch for their ignorant comments about HIV.

Back at home, Martin comforted Zack and implored him to look to his future with Whitney and not rush into anything.

At Walford East, Nugget made Ravi feel small when he read him the riot act about being so ignorant about HIV.

Zack apologized to Whitney for rushing her and promised to go slow.

When Billy excitedly talked about taking the family for a summer holiday in Portugal, Lola was forced to tell him the truth.

He was utterly devastated and consumed by anger as she explained she only had months to live.

Lola was distraught and later told Jay that with time running out, she needed to get some essential things in order. Most importantly, she wanted him to adopt Lexi because Ben was all over the place.

Kathy and Callum were worried sick about Ben’s behavior, but things got worse when Jay and Lola shared their plans about Lexi, and Ben told them he wasn’t letting them take his little girl from him – he’ll fight them all the way.
