Pop Idol star Jessica Garlick forced fans to do a double take as she proved age in only a number nearly two decades after appearing on the ITV talent show.
The singer first shot to stardom when she competed on the hugely popular programme and made it into the final 10 contestants back in 2001.
It didn’t take long before the 42-year-old became a household name as she displayed her impressive vocal range on the big stage.

But unfortunately her dream of becoming the next pop sensation ended almost as quickly as it began, after she was eliminated in the second week of the live shows.

Loyal fans will remember Jessica was forced to bid farewell to her musical dreams as she sang out the show with a rendition of Merry Christmas Everyone, but Shakin Stevens.
However, that wasn’t the last we saw of the songstress after she made an epic comeback one year later when she was chosen to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest which took place in Tallinn at the time.
She proved that her voice deserved a space in the charts when her track Come Back broke Eurovision records and she landed in joint third place in the competition.

Her ranking became the highest UK Eurovision song since Imaani’s Where Are You back in 1998, with her impressive feat still yet to be beaten.
After her Eurovision success in 2002, Jessica decided to take a break from music but quickly returned to her roots in 2009 with her single Hard Not To Fall.
Unfortunately, her single failed to top the charts which pushed Jessica to focus her attention on her personal life.

The songstress went on to tie the knot with her personal trainer husband Owen Satterley and welcome two beautiful children together.
Her former rugby player hubby recently shared a doting tribute to Jessica which revealed her brand-new look and age-defying looks online.
The Pop Idol singer now rocks a slightly darker shade of brunette but still has her youthful looks as she beamed to the camera in the adorable family snap.

Alongside the snap, Owen gushed over his loving wife as the happy couple celebrated the couple’s 18th wedding anniversary.
He wrote: “Married for 18 years. And yes, I know I’m punching. Happy and grateful.”
