Alison Hammond puts £700k home up for sale after Phillip Schofield quits ITV show

This Morning’s Alison Hammond has put her £700k home up for sale after her co-star Phillip Schofield quit the show.

While Phil and Holly Willoughby are away from screens, co-stars Alison and Dermot O’Leary have taken their spot on the famous sofa.

Fan-favourite Alison, 48, is well-loved on the show for her bubbly personality and hilarious interview techniques.

But it has been reported that the star has put her four-bedroom up for sale on Thursday (May 25).

Her property is located in the West Midlands but she could be considering a move closer to London if she is set to present more regularly.

An insider told The Sun: “The timings are entirely coincidental but are, perhaps, telling. Alison loves that house but wants a fresh start. She’s incredibly in demand.

“It’s looking highly likely she will be asked to do more days a week on This Morning — and therefore she will be spending more time in London.”

This Morning is filmed at the ITV studios in West London, but Phil will no longer be doing the commute after leaving with immediate effect.

After heightened feud rumours regarding him and co-star Holly Willoughby and the court case with his brother, Phil left the show after 21 years.

The host shared a statement online on his social media accounts, which has been heavily criticised by fans who think he was given the boot.

He told fans online: “I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, the show itself has become the story. Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind.

“I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love,” he said.

“So I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move forward to a bright future. I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me and I’ll see you all for the Soap Awards next month.”
