Love Island star Kem Cetinay has been reassured by a judge after a fatal crash which saw a new dad lose his life, an inquest has revealed.
Kem, 27, was told there was “absolutely nothing” he could have done following the tragedy, which took place near his home in Romford, Essex on August 4 last year.
Paramedics confirmed Tommy Griggs had died after his motorbike collided with Kem’s Mercedes G-Wagon.

Mr Griggs, who has been described as a “loveable rogue” by his family, was doing 44mph in a 30mph zone with fake number plates.
Walthamstow Coroners’ Court heard that he had no insurance or licence on a 125cc bike that had been modified with a 400cc engine.
Kem turned into Shepherds Hill at around 11.27am, when Mr Griggs smashed into his car, plunging him from his bike 20 ft into the air.
Senior Coroner Graeme Irvine ruled that Mr Griggs endured a large injury to his heart and would have lost consciousness very fast.
Emergency services attempted to defibrillate and intubate him but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene just half an hour later.
The court heard that the crash was caused by the dad speeding on the wrong side of the road around a bend where the drivers were obscured from one another by a hedge.
He was riding a motorbike that had been fitted with an engine over three times the standard, and 20 times over the legal limit for active cannabis ingredient THC.
The inquest heard that his Suzuki was designed to be a 125cc but it had been altered to run on a 400cc engine. His family said they do not know how it was altered.
It was reported that Mr Giggs only had a provisional license that allows him to ride a 125cc and was not licensed to ride such a powerful bike.
Post-mortem examinations revealed he had taken cannabis before the crash, and proved positive for 39milligrams of THC his blood, over 20 times the 2mg legal limit.
In 2018 and January 2022, Mr Giggs was involved in other traffic collisions, according to his GP records.
The coroner said there was no need to bring Kem to the hearing, and paraphrased evidence that Kem had handed over to the police after the incident.
“He came round the bend, he believed he was travelling at the legal speed limit,” the coroner explained.
“He said as soon as he came round the bend he saw the motorcycle approaching in his lane.
“The whole incident happened very, very quickly. He pulled on the steering wheel but he couldn’t give a clear recollection about whether he had any time to brake. He waited at the scene until emergency services arrived.”
Family members told the court that Mr Griggs had recently turned his life around.
His dad read out a statement to the courtroom which said: “Our Tommy was larger than life and he had the most amazing character, he was our lovable rogue.
“He made so many friends from all walks of life – if you were good to him he would treat you the same.”
Mr Cetinay was travelling between 27 and 29 mph and was sober.
The coroner concluded: “At that speed on the wrong side of the road he (Griggs) would have not been able to come out of that collision.
“Mr Cetinay, following the collision, did everything right. He stayed at the scene.”
