Britney Spears has casually announced that she is “quitting the business” after “not having a voice for 13 years”.
The Hit Me Baby One More Time singer shared a video of herself dancing to 2007’s Get Naked (I Got a Plan) and said that it is her favorite song.
The star reflected on her career and how she had to share the spotlight with her backup dancers.

The star captioned the post: ““It was really weird because my dancers took the stage for this song !!! Oh well !!! I listened to this song today and actually realized it for the first time.
She added: “I guess it was all those rules you know !!! Guess all those rules and not having a voice for 13 years in what I wanted to give a lot of people a thrill ride !!!

“Oh well !!! Psss no wonder I quit the business JUST SAYING !!”
She then added: “I’m going to London next week to go shopping so things aren’t too shabby.”
This comes after Britney took to Instagram last week to tell fans she had reconciled with her mother Lynne after her mother visited her home for the first time in three years.

The pop icon explained that her mum showed up at her door and the pair are trying to mend their relationship.
Britney took to Instagram on Thursday (May 25) with a sweet snap of herself when she was young.
Alongside the picture, she wrote: “My sweet mama showed up at my doorstep yesterday after 3 years…
“It’s been such a long time … with family, there’s always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!!”
