Emmerdale actress Claire King has promised the return of “old Kim” in the wake of Caleb’s scheme being exposed.
Last week, Caleb (Will Ash) was stopped in his tracks as he attempted to empty out Kim’s bank accounts, with the ruthless businesswoman one step ahead as she revealed she knew all about his master plan.
After trying to worm his way out of it, Caleb eventually fessed up and even revealed that he is the son of Frank Tate.

As this was taking place, Nicky (Lewis Cope) admitted everything to a heartbroken Gabby (Rosie Bentham) on their wedding day, including Caleb’s plot to get his hands on Home Farm.
At the end of Thursday’s episode (June 8), Kim promised a devastated Gabby that Caleb would pay for the pain he’s caused.
Holding the jilted bride’s hand, she insisted: “I promise you Gabby, with everything I’ve got, the gun is already loaded and my finger is on the trigger.”
Discussing the aftermath of Kim learning the truth about Caleb, Claire suggested her character will return to her old ways to take revenge.
“I think there’ll be an element of the old Kim coming back,” the 61-year-old told Daily Star and other press. “I think ‘best served cold’ might come into it.”
Next week, Caleb’s comeuppance comes far quicker than expected when he is attacked and left for dead.
The number of suspects mount up, with Cain at the top of the list after learning his brother was the reason Moira lost her farm.
As a raging Leyla discovers that Caleb slept with Charity, that also throws Mackenzie’s name into the mix when he learns his estranged wife has been with someone else.
Gabby remains devastated at the pain Caleb has caused her, while Will is also still seething at the resident bad boy after the stunt he pulled on Kim.
While out on a woodland ridge, Caleb is blindsided when an unknown figure pushes him over the edge and his lifeless body sprawls on the ground below.
Back in the village, a number of suspicious characters return from mysterious outings, but who pushed him Caleb remains unclear.
Emmerdale airs Monday to Thursday on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
