“I guess there wasn’t a huge official announcement, but yeah, I’m back!” she said in a video shared on her Instagram Story.
“Luckily I had more than enough time on maternity leave with Lyra for me to be able to come back and do the show!
“So yes I will be on the couch along with Fleur (East) interviewing all of your couples and I can’t wait to actually.”
“I literally can’t wait,” added the star, saying that last year the programme was “amazing”.
Aljaz and Janette, who have been married since 2017, announced the arrival of their baby girl at the end of July with sweet Instagram snaps showing the couple in hospital and carrying Lyra out in her car seat.
Janette later shared an adorable shot showing her hubby dozing on a couch near Lyra, who was fast asleep in her basket.
“This is what I woke up to this morning,” the 39-year-old told her fans on Instagram.
“My heart melted. @aljazskorjanec will not leave her side.
“He is such an incredible father already.
“Watching him w/ Lyra is so beautiful.
“It’s so great to see men really taking on being great fathers to their children these days.”
“I feel very lucky in this moment to have such an amazing partner,” she said.
Strictly returns to our screens soon, with Angela Rippon, Les Dennis, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Amanda Abbington and Bobby Brazier among the new crop of contestants.
