BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing has hit a major setback after the highly anticipated dance pairings appear to have been leaked online.
The show, which prepares to return for another thrilling run on Saturday, September 23, had lept a tight lid on the couples, which sees celebrities partnered up with a professional during the launch episode.
However, a keen-eyed social media user, notorious for divulging show secrets, has once again managed to let the cat out of the bag prematurely.

In an effort to preserve the excitement surrounding the show, we’re keeping the pairings under wraps, however, this untimely revelation hasn’t been without its share of backlash.
A disappointed social media user lamented: “Wish this thing never existed – we wanna wait until the show.”
While some fans found the pairings “interesting,” others couldn’t help but express their dismay over the apparent “benching” of a professional dancer who, it seems, won’t be part of the 2023 series.
This revelation has triggered an outpouring of disappointment among viewers.
Notably, the so-called Strictly “mole,” whose identity has been unmasked as David Thorp, has faced criticism from the show’s stars.
Judge Anton Du Beke, appearing on Loose Women, pleaded with the “super leaker” to “please stop.”
According to insider reports, Strictly’s production team has been diligently investigating the source of the information leak to Thorp and various Strictly spoiler pages.
Interestingly, this particular mole has asserted that he doesn’t rely on a single source for his information.

Instead, he often receives messages from audience members, sharing results recorded on Saturday nights immediately after the live show.
Although he confirmed that he generates revenue from his spoiler account, Thorp remained tight-lipped about the exact figures.
He has previously defended his decision to leak information about the show, saying, “I don’t put the results for everyone to see, and they have to search for my site to find out the results. It could be argued that the BBC is to blame for recording something which is of massive interest the day before.”
This year’s Strictly lineup boasts a diverse array of celebrities, including newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy, former tennis player Annabel Croft, actor Nigel Harman, EastEnders ‘ Bobby Brazier, Paralympian Jody Cundy, former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach, comedian Les Dennis, and actress Amanda Abbington.
Joining them on the dance floor are radio host Nikita Kanda, Waterloo Road actor Adam Thomas, Love Island star Zara McDermott, Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon, Bad Education’s Layton Williams, comedian Eddie Kadi, and TV legend Angela Rippon.
