Coronation Street fans have been forced to bulk buy tissues this year after fan-favourite Paul Foreman was diagnosed with motor neuron disease (MND).
Since then, viewers have watched the resident’s health steadily decline over the past few months, with Paul now forced to use a wheelchair after losing the use of his legs. Things are only set to get worse for him after he was told he has between six to 12 months left to live.
While he and his husband Billy Mayhew aim to make this Christmas the most memorable one yet, viewers are devastated at Paul’s limited time left on the ITV cobbles. As the beloved character fights to keep as much of his independence as he can, viewers are curious to see if the archdeacon will find love again after his death.

Now, Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent creative tools, Bard AI, to see if he will find love again in Weatherfield. The programme insisted that despite the loss of his loving husband, Billy will not be alone forever.
When asked if he meet a new man in the future, the program insisted: “It is certainly possible that Billy Mayhew could find love again after his husband Paul Foreman dies on Coronation Street.
“Billy is kind, compassionate, and loving person, and he has a lot to offer a partner. He is also a strong and independent individual, and he is not afraid to be vulnerable. All of these qualities make him a good candidate for finding love again.”
The AI system suggested ways in which the archdeacon could get back out there following Paul’s death. It went on: “There are a number of ways Billy could meet someone new.
“He could meet someone through his work, through his friends or through online dating. He could also meet someone through a mutual interest of hobby.”
The program has even suggested one local who he could fall for in years to come. Bard AI teased: “Sean Tully would be a good partner for Billy in the future.
“Sean is a close friend of Billy’s, and they have a lot in common. They are both kind, compassionate and have a good sense of humour. Additionally, they are both single and looking for love.”

The program added that viewers shouldn’t hold their breath for the hunk to fall back in love again immediately after Paul’s death. It went on: “It is important to note that finding love after the death of a spouse is a difficult process. Billy will need time to grieve for Paul and to heal from his loss.
“He may also need to adjust to being single again. However, with time and support, Billy can find love again.” Fans will have to stay tuned to see what the future holds for Billy Mayhew.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV1 or catch-up on ITVX.
