Adam’s new role comes months after he and Benidorm co-star Laila Zaidi got engaged. Laila played Cyd on the ITV show and the pair first struck up a relationship in 2018 – the same year the hit show was axed.

And things are still going strong for the pair as in September they announced to fans that they had gotten engaged. Laila took to her Instagram to share the news with a slew of loved-up snaps.

The happy couple looked smitten in the series of snaps from Croatia as Laila showed off her jaw-dropping ring. Adam and Laila were holidaying there when Adam popped the question.
