Charlotte Crosby lands another huge singing gig – but makes one vow to TV fans

Charlotte Crosby has landed another singing gig after competing on The Masked Singer Australia earlier this year.

The reality TV icon may have been best known for her infamous antics on Geordie Shore and her new TV show Charlotte In Sunderland, but she’s also done a few competitions in her time. From I’m A Celebrity Australia to Masked Singer, Charlotte has shocked audiences.

And after she left fans baffled after being unveiled as Space Fairy with an incredible singing voice, her followers were begging for more music. Working with Paramount+, Charlotte did a fun jingle for their festive advert.

Speaking to Daily Star, Charlotte said: “Honestly I just couldn’t believe it. I know I did Masked Singer, but that’s like a jokey thing isn’t it?

“Then it all started going viral and I was asked to do the festive advert I was like what the hell is going on am I actually going to be a singer now?” However, Charlotte’s still a bit apprehensive about doing more music.

She added: “We’ll see how it goes down and if people like it then maybe. Baby steps, just one at a time.”

But Charlotte confirmed while music has taken a focus, reality TV will always be her priority. She added: “I’m a reality star until I die. It’s in my core, it’s in my heart. I’ll always be doing that.”

Charlotte did her first TV stint on MTV which now airs on Paramount+, and she’s returned to the brand to do their festive song which will appear on YouTube, TV, Radio and Cinemas.

Paramount+ confirmed that Charlotte would be appearing on the jingle on Tuesday as they told their followers to listen out for a “familiar Geordie voice”. The TV star said in a teaser that she’d been called “talentless” and “tone deaf” for so long that she’d believed trolls.

However she explained she was doing something “really exciting”, and her followers were quick to share their support. One user wrote: “Christmas album next year!”

While another said: “Please never change!”, and a third wrote: “You’re one of my favourite people, keep doing you girl.”
