Danielle Harold made sure she didn’t go packing before the votes opened despite falling ill during her time on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
The ex EastEnders actress would have been the third person to head home citing medical reasons after both Grace Dent and Jamie Lynn Spears left the jungle. Danielle’s illness became so bad that she lost a stone in a matter of days – but she didn’t want it to stop her.
Danielle, who became the fifth star evicted but seventh to leave the jungle, admitted she had struggled during her time in the jungle. But to viewers, no one had a clue that she was feeling so unwell.

A pal has since told The Sun of Danielle’s health concern, with the actress telling a friend how she felt “wiped out” and “rough”, but determined to stay in there.
She fell ill at the start of the series after getting a nasty infection. A source told the publication that she “powered through” and was seen by the camp doctor multiple times.
They added: “They were very concerned but rather than throw in the towel she wanted to stay the course. She was really sick but you’d never have known it.”
It was reported that Danielle really struggled in the first week, with the actress ultimately losing nearly a stone. Medics closely monitored her and she was seen multiple times to make sure the infection was under control.
Luckily, Danielle was able to continue through to the elimination stage of the competition and became the fifth person to leave the series. After her exit she told hosts Ant and Dec that it was the greatest thing she’d ever done.
She added: “I was terrified, honestly, absolutely petrified but I have conquered my fear of heights. Bugs not so much.” Danielle also praised her co-star Sam Thompson and declared she’s rooting for him to win.
Danielle told the hosts: “He has literally become like a brother. I think we are both a bit crazy and a bit loud. When someone matches your energy like that, he just makes me laugh.
“I am so glad that this was my year. you know sometimes you’re watching thinking ‘I wouldn’t want to be in there’ but with them there was not one bad person in there, even Mr Farage.”
