BBC The Traitors’ Harry Clark admits he still hasn’t had winnings four months after show

The Traitors winner Harry Clark confessed that he “hasn’t got the money yet” four months after winning nearly £100k.

Last night, BBC viewers were gripped to their screens as they watched the final five contestants battle it out to take home the eye-watering jackpot and beat the Traitors. But the 23-year-old military engineer surprised everyone when he swindled them out of £95,150 by deviously killing off and banishing his co-stars along the way.

The show featured a nail-biting twist which saw accountant Jaz Singh confront the hunk with his suspicions just moments away from taking home the prize. It came down to model Mollie Pearce to make the final decision as to who she believed to be the final Traitor: Jaz or Harry.

Initially, the blonde bombshell wrote down Harry’s name but at the last second, she decided to go with her heart and banished the accountant from the game. After learning that Harry was in fact a Traitor and had won the jaw-dropping sum, Mollie stormed out of the castle in tears.

But more than four months after producers wrapped up filming, Harry revealed to Daily Star and other press that he still hasn’t received his staggering cash prize. He told us: “It’s mad, isn’t it? I can’t really believe it.

“I can’t even explain it because, well one: I haven’t got the money yet, so that’s probably why. And Two: I just can’t believe it. Like I still can’t believe it.

“I had to put it at the back of my mind because I’d won but then I had to go back to work and I couldn’t tell anyone so I sort of just wanted to forget about it. And now it’s like reliving it and being able to tell everyone that I’ve actually won The Traitors series two.”

The hunk admitted that he struggled going back to work and having to continue to lie to people after he won the show. He went on: “I felt like I was lying even more.

“I had a month where I had to lie to people and build connections on a lie and then I get home and then I’ve got to carry on lying for four months again, just even about being on the show let alone winning it.

“So it’s been a relief, last night was a massive relief because it’s like, ‘Oh okay, I don’t need to lie for a bit now so I can chill out’.”

It comes after the winner came under fire from fans after declaring that he has “never needed” the £95k cash pot. The British Army Corporal, who declared he was “the best Traitor ever” caused an uproar from fans for saying he never needed the money after “acting like he couldn’t afford a Toby Carvery with the family.”

In the spin-off show Uncloaked, Harry, who boasts of his lavish lifestyle on Instagram with his grand trips in private jets and designer clothes, said: “I’m 23-years-old with that much money!

“I can’t even explain it. Money never makes me happy. I’ve never needed money. As long as I have a roof over my head, food, water, my family and my other half, that’s all I need.
