Katie Price has shut down feud rumours with her new neighbours as she revealed their sweet ‘moving in’ gesture.
Earlier this month, the 46-year-old downsized from her infamous Mucky Mansion after she was declared bankrupt for the second time in March. She has since moved into a stunning four-bedroom home in the heart of Sussex instead.
Last week, The Sun revealed one anonymous neighbour was very unhappy to learn the TV personality was moving into the neighbourhood. During her latest instalment of The Katie Price Show podcast, which she hosts with her sister Sophie, she insisted that her neighbours have been nothing but welcoming to her.

She told listeners: “In my new house, [the press] are saying that all my neighbours hate me and a lot of them are talking about putting their house up on the market because I’ve moved there.”
Disappointed with the news, Sophie fumed: “Oh please, come on!” Despite this, the mum-of-five insisted that her neighbours have been extremely sweet to her after her move.
She went on: “I’d like to say, I’ve got lovely neighbours because they’ve all given me cards, they’ve been round and introduced themselves. So I’ve got lovely neighbours and I love it that they’ve welcomed me there.”
It comes after the publication revealed one anonymous neighbour was left up in arms after learning the identity of her new neighbour. The woman, who asked not to be identified, told The Sun: “The reaction from most of the neighbours has not been very positive.
“I’m really not very happy about it. Another neighbour told me she is not somebody you would want living next to you. There’s nothing we can do about it other than put our house up for sale, but that is a bit drastic.”
The Celebrity Big Brother winner was evicted from her Mucky Mansion last month over an unpaid tax bill of £761,94.05. She confirmed the news on her podcast, telling fans: “No I am still in my mansion! And guess what? I absolutely have hated my mansion.
“I tell you why, nine years of hell I’ve had there. Fly-tipping, it’s haunted… and I am living with it. And whoever buys that house, good luck! I hate it.”
Katie first purchased the lavish pad in Horsham, West Sussex, back in 2014, but she faced many problems with the property over the years. This included her pool going mouldy and claiming her kids would wake up screaming after seeing ghosts.
The former glamour model tried to recreate her dream home by renovating it on Channel 4’s Mucky Mansion, but it didn’t take long before it returned to its poor state. Fans will have to stay tuned to see how the doting mum will renovate her new property after settling in.
