Strictly winners ‘exposed’ before first live show as pair have ‘instant fire’

Strictly Come Dancing’s 2024 series winners have been “exposed” ahead of the live shows.

Speaking to Betfair Slingo, body language expert Darren Stanton said: “[Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe] are a fantastic couple right off the bat, these are my strongest contenders in the competition so far. I think [Montell] is geared up to win.”

Stanton couldn’t help but notice the Olympian’s chemistry with the strictly-come-dancing>Strictly Come Dancing icon: “Her body language is so positive, so optimistic, they have this instant fire between them and I think these two will be potential finalists. These two are going to go really far in the competition and go from strength to strength.”

“I say that because they seem to just be electric together, very tactile [with] a really great connection. With Montell and JoJo, the energy levels make such a difference – their energy is a 10 out of 10 which is why I’d tip them as being top of my list.”

Darren said that the duo have an electric “buzz” between them which “is so clear” and will help put the competitors “in a great stead to do well”. Stanton also noted that Montell’s bubbly personality means she is “quite loud” and that she “likes to show her excitement,” meaning that she will get along with Johannes like a house on fire.

“These two really want to do well for each other,” the body language expert noted. Montell is a British Olympian and a former British record holder for the 100 metres sprint at an impressive 11.05 seconds.

The sporting starlet also appeared as Fire in the BBC One reboot of the iconic 90s competition series Gladiators, and will be starring alongside Strictly icon Johannes Radebe this year.
