Justin Bieber fans are questioning whether some of his lyrics hint toward P Diddy.
The singer’s 2021 hit Lonely features the lyrics: “And everybody saw me sick, and it felt like no-one gave a sh**, they criticised the things I did as an idiot kid.” He also wrote: “What if you had it all and it felt like nobody to call? Maybe then you’d know me, ‘cause I’ve had everything but no-one’s listening and that’s just lonely. I’m so lonely. Lonely.”
Fans have gathered online to question the deeper meaning behind Bieber’s lyrics and questioned the relationship between the pair. During Justin’s early days, the Baby singer spent a lot of time with Diddy – real name Sean Combs.

One fan tweeted: “Justin Bieber wrote and performed this powerful song, “Lonely,” to shed light on the painful reality behind Hollywood’s glamour, where young stars often face unimaginable abuse. In light of recent accusations against Diddy, it’s heartbreaking to remember that Justin was only 15 when he went through his own struggles with him. This song speaks to the truth so many young people in the industry face. #JusticeForJustin #ProtectOurChildren.”
Another person said: No one protected him. Not even his family. I absolutely adore this song, but the words have always stood out to me. I hope he can heal with time #JustinBieber #Lonely #Diddy.”
Bieber has yet to address the speculation and has not confirmed or denied whether the lyrics refer to P Diddy. This comes after Combs was recently arrest, currently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center following his indictment for sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
It was claimed that federal raids on his mansions in Miami and Los Angeles discovered over 1000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant. It has also been claimed that Combs would manipulate victims into parting in sexual performances lasting for days at a time, which he branded “freak offs”.
MailOnline reported: “Diddy’s associates would allegedly ply victims with drugs to keep them compliant and would make threats against anyone refusing to engage, in claims similar to those made in a civil lawsuit brought by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie last year.”
Combs has hired Marc Agnifilo, the attorney who previously challenged the government in Keith Raniere’s trail in 2019. It resulted in a 120 year sentence for the NXIVM cult leader, who ran the pyramid scheme as a cover for appalling crimes such as sexual assault, foced labour, sex trafficking and, horrifyingly, child pornography.
Following Diddy’s arrest, it has been reported that the rapper has been placed on suicide watch while at the detention centre.
