Vanessa Feltz ex Ben Ofoedu hits hurdle with Channel 4 star partner after racy TV request

Vanessa Feltz ex Ben Ofoedu and Precious Muir hit their first relationship challenge as she’s set to be called back to her rather racy job.

Discussions have been taking place with producers who have been asking about her making a comeback to film Series 3 of Open House: The Great Sex Experiment.

In this bold telly concept committed couples reside in a luxurious retreat to test whether opening up their relationship with the solo residents will strengthen their bond.

The couple have been dating since November 2023 and Ben has become aware that the hit TV show might ask for Precious to be cast for a third series after her popularity in the previous ones.

But knowing that Precious could possibly return, Ben thinks it could create major issues in their relationship. They have always agreed to be supportive of one another’s careers and whatever great opportunities arise but could this be too much for the pair?

The premise of the show features couples being physically intimate with the house’s singletons, which means Precious would have to open her relationship with Ben up.

Insiders have claimed that Precious, who has previously starred in Open House for both series one and two, is currently having second thoughts. A close source said: “She seems very happy with Ben and the way their relationship is going, I don’t think she’d want to jeopardise that to be a part of Open House – Series 3.

“Both times Precious had taken part, she was single and now she is in a committed relationship with Ben, so things this time around are completely different.”

They added: “Big wigs at Channel 4 have recognised her popularity and have been working tirelessly to get her in for the third series of this highly successful format. This is one of the first hurdles for the happy couple, watch this space to see what happens next.”

The Daily Star spoke to Ben himself exclusively off the back of this news who said he didn’t think it “would be good for our relationship”. Ben told us: “I’m very supportive of what Precious does in her career and don’t want her to ever miss out on great opportunities but I don’t think it would be good for our relationship to do what technically is a dating show.”

When asked if he would watch the next series of the show, he added: “I don’t really think I’d be tuning in to the show as I’d feel like I was cheating on Precious. But I appreciate the show is hugely popular and understand Precious gained a large fan base from the last two series which I’m completely comfortable with.”

The couple were recently pictured at überlube’s launch party which took place at London’s Soho House last Tuesday (September 17). Guests were treated to a hand massage by a beauty therapist and doctors Dr Krcychman and Dr Mayoni educated attendees on the unlimited benefits of using lube.
