P Diddy promises to ‘stay away from women and substances’ if granted bail

P Diddy has made some promises if granted bail.

The rapper will reportedly stay away from women and drugs if a judge grants the I’ll Be Missing You hitmaker bail. He is currently awaiting trial and is being held without bail following his sex trafficking, racketeering and transporting for prostitution charges.

Combs has allegedly agreed to weekly drug testing and if released on house arrest, visitors would be restricted to “family, property caretakers and friends who are not considered to be co-conspirators” according to his lawyer Marc Agnifilo’s letter to the judge.

This means no women outside Sean’s family and his children would be allowed to visit the rapper. It has also been reported that Diddy’s security team would need “any person who enters the property to sign a visitor log” which would be presented to the court.

Agnifilo addressed the media after Combs’ arrest and said he will fight a decision to hold Sean without bail. He said: “Mr Combs is a fighter. He’s going to fight this until the end. He is innocent. We’re going to fight this case with everything we have.”

The attorney also said that the rapper will not plea bargain and will fight his side, which includes taking to the stand as defence. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and was recently placed on suicide watch while awaiting trial.

However, Agnifilo told TMZ that it is a routine precaution for “new, high profile inmates” and it has now been reported that Diddy has now been taken off suicide watch at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York.

A law enforcement source spoke to People on 29 September and told the publication that the star is “focussed and very strong” while “concentrating on his defence and preparing for his trial”.
