P Diddy appears ‘downbeat’ in prison jumpsuit as courtroom sketches released

Sean “P Diddy” Combs looked ‘downbeat’ in the docks as he came to terms with his reality after three weeks in the clink.

The hip-hop ‘great’ was slapped with cuffs on 16 September and is facing serious charges including sex trafficking and racketeering.

Combs stood before the courtroom on Thursday and wore a baggy orange jumpsuit, reports the Mirror.

Courtroom sketchers captured the 54 year old’s downcast feeling, as he wore the baggy inmate top. He did catch a glimpse of his mum and children in the courtroom and briefly smiled.

When Combs appeared in court on Thursday, his family members including mum, Janice Combs, and his twin daughters were present.

His mum Janice previously defended her son, insisting he was “not a monster.”

It was revealed earlier that he would face trial in May 2025. Judge Subramanian scheduled the trial for May 5, but according to TMZ, federal prosecutors have suggested that their investigation is still ongoing and could possibly result in additional charges against Diddy.

Although he’s denied all of the allegations brought to him and requesting bail three times since being arrested, Combs remains in the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York, while facing 100 allegations of sexual abuse.

His lawyers stated: “Mr Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

According to his attorney Marc Agnifilo, Diddy is finding one part of being held the most difficult. Outside of the courtroom and to reporters, he said: “I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it.”
