The winners of The Traitors series three have spoken out about their time on the BBC show, and revealed they are yet to receive their prize money after the final last month
The winners of The Traitors series three have revealed they are still waiting for their hefty winnings mnths after filming wrapped up for the series.
Viewers were glued to their screens during the nail-biting finale on the BBC, cheering as Faithfuls Leanne and Jake nabbed victory, set to split a jaw-dropping £94,600. But despite the show finishing last month – and filming taking place last summer – the duo have confirmed they are yet to receive their payment.
Chatting with the Mirror, the winning pair said: “We haven’t spent any of the prize money, none of it has gone yet,” They’ve also played nice with crowd-pleasers Alexander and Frankie, dishing out apologies for giving them the boot. “We apologised to Frankie and Alexander straight away for voting them out.

“We want Alexander to find a nice wife, everyone loves him.”
Chatting about adjusting to the spotlight after his private life hit the headlines, Jake admitted: “It can be tough everyone knowing who you are and being so involved but I’m getting used to it every day. Our partners get on great, we’re going to have a double date.”
Fans were hanging on the edge of their seats for last month’s final showdown. Out of the final five, Charlotte was the lone Traitor standing. However, she was banished at the roundtable after the Seer twist. The twist then saw Frankie revealed as the Seer after winning the challenge, meaning she had the power to find out any player’s identity.
She picked Charlotte, who turned out to be a Traitor. Although it was uncertain if the players would take her side because of Charlotte’s sly tactics, they ultimately trusted her.
But, for Frankie, Charlotte’s insistence that Frankie was fibbing and the fact that Frankie’s true role wasn’t disclosed in the final roundtable discussion made Leanne and Jake doubt she was a Faithful. This led to Frankie being ousted right before the ultimate showdown.
The Seer twist shook things up this series, and while it has had viewers on the edge of their seats, not everyone is chuffed about it. A former Twitter user, now on platform X, confessed: “I love it, but I don’t know if I agree with The Seer, as it undoes all the traitors’ hard work in an instant.”
