A Heart Radio star has quit their show.
It was recently announced that Vicky would be leaving her radio show on Heart in the North East as a “proud Geordie” and issued a statement to her fans.
“I will miss the time spent up here, the extra time it allowed me to spend with my family and friends in the north and mostly I will miss my amazing team. And honestly, I can’t wait to see what everyone achieves next.”
However, the news isn’t all sad – Pattison is actually moving over to national radio for a hosting gig in Heart’s weekend slot. Vicky took to Instagram to share the news.
The former Geordie Shore star posted a picture of herself in the Heart Radio studio and in the caption, Vicky wrote: “SHE’S A NATIONAL RADIO PRESENTER BABYYYY!!!! Super excited to be joining @thisisheart’s weekend team!
“I’ll be hosting MY OWN brand new show starting March 1st from 4pm. Little bit nervous, this is a BIG GIG but mostly I’m just so excited!!! Eeeeekkkkkkk! LETS GO!!! @global.”
Fans and friends rushed to the comment section to share their excitement and messages of support for the former Geordie Shore star. One person said: “She is amazing [clapping emoji] Well done.”
“This is so amazing! Well done you,” wrote another fan, while someone else typed: “Yessss girl!”
Vicky rose to fame on the MTV show Geordie Shore back in 2011 until 2014. She became one of the show’s most beloved stars and has had a glittering media career ever since.
She appeared on Ex on the Beach in 2014 and 2015, and on her own TV show Judge Geordie. She won the 15th series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and became a panellist on Loose Women in 2016.
