Michael Fabricant, the first housemate evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house, has spoken out on Mickey Rourke’s shock exit from the reality TV house in a social media post. The follows Michael’s own eviction on Friday, where he was up against Mickey and fellow housemate Jack Shepherd.

Last night, ITV revealed that Mickey had “agreed” to pack his bags and leave the Celebrity Big Brother house after a talk with Big Brother about his continued use of inappropriate language and some questionable behaviour. According to reports, the Hollywood star was kicked out following a spat with fellow contestant Chris Hughes, which spiralled into a display of a threatening atmosphere and aggressive talk.

Now, Michael’s shared his thoughts in regarding Mickey’s dramatic departure with a cryptic message online. Taking to X, he spoke on Mickey’s early desire to bail, writing: “He wanted to leave on Day One,” and slapping an exclamation mark emoji for good measure.

Since the show kicked off last Monday, Mickey, the 72 year old star of The Wrestler, has been stirring up trouble – with a homophobia row that earned him a warning from Big Brother just days ago, reports the Mirror.

On Wednesday, Mickey got an official warning on the show after he told JoJo Siwa she’d ditch her gay identity after hanging out with him in the house, before saying to the other celebs: “I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.”

He then announced to the other celebs that he was gagging for “a fag” and, pointing at JoJo, quipped: “I’m not talking to you.”

Chris Hughes didn’t let that slide and called him out, leading to Mickey being summoned to the diary room for a formal telling-off.

As the week rolled on, Mickey caught flak from the audience for “fat-shaming” Donna Preston by suggesting she’d be “better off running around the block for ten minutes” and quipping: “It’s like they say, you are what you eat.”

Come Friday’s live eviction show, viewers saw EastEnders icon Patsy Palmer in bits after Mickey took a pop at her culinary skills in the house.

“I tried to talk that one out but it didn’t really work. I feel like I let myself down there and I don’t want my reactions to be like that,” she confided to Big Brother, all choked up in the diary room. “I always want my kids to always stand up for themselves. Maybe it was just a joke – maybe I need to look at it like that. I need to try to rise above it. It doesn’t mean I have to like him.”
