Olivia Attwood has been left covered in blood and welts as her loyal fans flocked to social media to share their worries over the Love Islander’s seriously inflamed skin
Olivia Attwood has been left bloodied and inflamed just hours before Christmas day.
The Love Island icon left her followers stunned as she revealed a bloodied face in a brand new video shared on her social media. Over time, Liv has undergone a variety of treatments, tweaks and adjustments and this year the reality TV personality decided to treat herself to an early Christmas gift by undergoing a Co2 laser treatment, which many of her fans branded “horrendous”.
Olivia displayed the results and while she was pleased with the outcome, many fans were taken aback by the sight of her face covered in painful-looking, bloody red welts.
This comes after Bonnie Blue recently took a savage swipe at Olivia Attwood.
In a brief video update, Olivia offered fans an up-close view of her clinic experience: “Yeah, that’s me, and you’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation,” as she explained she’d just indulged in “a cosmetic procedure that’s been on her wish list all year”.
She revealed: “I call this my off season because I get two weeks off camera. So this time, it was CO2 laser,” reports the Mirror.
She consulted with a specialist doctor at a London clinic to receive the procedure and showed footage of her reclining on a treatment bed whilst evaluating her skin’s condition before the session. Olivia said: “This is my skin pre laser. I mean, it’s pretty good overall, but my main complaints were just wanting a bit more collagen production and also bit of sun damage I picked up during the summer while filming and partying.”
“Then it was time to blast that skin and girls and guys. It’s spicy but it’s bearable. So what does CO2 do? It stimulates the skin and it triggers the skin to create more collagen and elasticity. Ah, look at that ablated skin there. That’s so satisfying.”
“It delivers very precise micro columns of energy, which means more control over depth and density, which results in a safer treatment with less downtime.” Once finished, the footage revealed Olivia’s face being slathered in healing balms and calming lotions.
She then switched to showing her current healing phase, which looked inflamed and tender: “This was me day two. The dog’s terrified. I’ll keep you updated.”
One fan commented: “You’re still gorgeous even with a face full of laser,” while another said: “I had microneedling and it was horrendous! If it hurts more than that, I’m out!”
A third declared: “I had that! It was horrendous and I looked like Freddie Kruger afterwards….but man was it worth it!”.
