Brooklyn Beckham has posted a loved-up snap with wife Nicola Peltz on social media days after he blocked his family including parents David and Victoria online
Brooklyn Beckham has gushed that his wife Nicola is “my everything” in a smitten Christmas message on Instagram, just days after shutting out his family on social media.
The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham posted a snap of himself holding hands with his 30-year-old spouse whilst marking the holidays with her wealthy parents in Miami, Florida. His wife’s name is also inked on his hand as a permanent reminder of their bond.
Making it crystal clear how devoted he is to their marriage, he wrote: ‘My Everything’.
This gesture comes hot on the heels of another post that many interpreted as a swipe at his mum and dad. On the TikTok page for his latest business venture, Cloud 23 sauce, he was filmed strolling down a street whilst Lady Gaga’s chart-topper “Telephone” soundtracked the clip.
Despite having numerous lyrical options from the track, Brooklyn deliberately selected the bit containing the words: “Sorry, I cannot hear you, I’m kinda busy.”
These particular lyrics were even emphasised in the video, which reached the account’s 9313 followers. The pointed message arrives shortly after he cut ties with his parents on social platforms, reports the Mirror.
The comments section immediately erupted with social media users slamming Brooklyn over his continuing row with his relatives. The remainder of the family are marking Christmas back in the UK without him, and they won’t even be able to view his Instagram posts any longer after he blocked them
Trouble initially surfaced around David’s 50th birthday bash earlier this year when supporters noticed Brooklyn and his spouse were conspicuously absent from the build-up to the occasion before ultimately giving the party a miss.
The pair completely ignored the former England captain on his milestone day without even offering congratulations – and are now pursuing their separate lives across the pond in America.
Brooklyn and Nicola subsequently held a vow renewal ceremony with none of the Beckham clan present.
The relationship has deteriorated so drastically that Brooklyn has stopped following his parents on social media platforms – with supporters then claiming Victoria and David had reciprocated.
Nevertheless, Brooklyn’s younger sibling Cruz fought back, declaring: “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”
Back home in Britain, the Beckhams are doing their utmost to maintain a stoic front and disregard any remarks from Brooklyn that might appear as thinly-veiled criticisms or attacks, with Victoria showcasing David setting up a tree and adorning it.
The former Manchester United star seemed particularly jolly as he struck a pose wearing a Santa hat.
He relished the festive decorating session.
Later, he and his wife unwound with martinis, which Victoria disclosed had been mixed by their youngest lad, Cruz, 20. Brooklyn’s parents have yet to comment on the dispute, and it is believed that questions regarding Brooklyn were off-limits during interviews promoting her Netflix documentary.
