Hollyoaks actor Imran Adams has taken centre stage in a number of the Channel 4 soap’s major storylines since he joined the show last year as Mitchell Deveraux.
From coming out as gay to his homophobic grandfather to finding out he his mother gave away two of his siblings, young doctor Mitchell has already been through a lot over the past few months.
Mitchell recently found out that mystery villagers Toby (Bobby Gordon) and Celeste Faroe (Andrea Ali) are in fact his biological brother and sister, who were given away by their mum Martine Deveruax (Kelle Bryan) at birth.
The triplet bombshell was dropped in dramatic scenes earlier this month, leaving Mitchell heartbroken by his family’s betrayal.
Speaking exclusively Daily Star Online, Imran said: “When the triples storyline was revealed everyone’s jaws dropped, and I’m loving the reaction from fans to be honest.

“The story is far from over. Richard Blackwood has joined the show as the triplets’ dad Felix Westwood.
“We’ve filmed a few scenes together and he is a star. To work with Richard is an honour.
“It’s high drama and his character is very necessary to the storyline.
“There’s lots more to come from the Deveraux family.”
Hollyoaks celebrates it’s 25th birthday later this year and Imran has promised an “explosive” celebration.

Soap bosses have so far remained tight-lipped about how exactly Hollyoaks cast members will mark the milestone, but if previously anniversary storylines are to go by fans are in for a treat.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Hollyoaks will reduce their number of weekly episodes from five to three episodes from March 30. The new episodes will air Monday to Wednesday.
Fans can look forward to extra special episodes every Thursday and Friday on E4, as Hollyoaks Favourites will give viewers a chance to revisit some of the soap’s biggest episodes, from weddings, bust-ups, heartbreaks and some of the show’s biggest and best stunts.
Hollyoaks continues on Channel 4 tonight followed by a first look screening on E4 at 7pm
