The note was only discovered when Liam’s dad Geoff Payne contacted Argentinian authorities demanding new information.His neuropsychiatrist said she would no longer be able to treat himOn the NHS website, the service urges against mixing antidepressants and alcohol, describing it as a “depressant”, which could only make symptoms worse. The website reads: “You’re less likely to experience unpleasant or unpredictable effects if you drink alcohol while taking an SSRI or a serotonin-noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) antidepressant, but avoiding alcohol is often still recommended.”Liam had openly admitted to having a problem with alcohol dependency and checked himself into rehab months before his death as a way to overcome his demons.
