Former Love Island presenter Caroline Flack has been confirmed dead, after passing away at her East London home.
The television presenter was also known for appearing on Strictly Come Dancing and hosting The X Factor alongside Olly Murs.
Caroline’s death was confirmed by her family in a statement which read: “We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February.
“We would ask that the press respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time and we would ask they make no attempt to contact us and/or photograph us.”
Her death comes just weeks before she was due to stand trial in court on an assault charge after an incident with boyfriend, Lewis Burton.
Flack pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault when appeared before magistrates.

The television presenter was due to stand trial on March 4th following the incident that took place at her Islington home on December 12th.
Magistrates told Flack she was unable to contact Lewis following the charge.
She had recently returned from Los Angeles after attempting to “clear her head”.

Press Association claimed that a lawyer for the Flack family confirmed that Caroline took her own life and was found at her East London flack and was found on Saturday.
