Love Island ‘s Curtis Pritchard fuelled speculation that he has started dating Coronation Street’s Kimberly Hart-Simpson as he took to Instagram with a cosy snap of them both.
It wasn’t just the picture that seemed to send fans into a frenzy but his choice of words that almost caused the internet crash.
The 24-year-old told his 1.4million followers that he was sad not to wake up next to the British actress, insinuating they’d spent their first night apart for a while.
Although, eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out that both TV stars had been taking part in Celebs Go Dating and he was therefore declaring that they were merely friends and nothing more.

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the programme’s participants have had to join bubbles and share rooms in a bid to be compliant with the government’s guidelines.
When Curtis talks about “waking up next to Kimberly”, he could of course be alluding to their friendship on the show, however not everyone was convinced.
Leaving social media spectators to stew over his choice of vocabulary, he mysteriously wrote: “Kimberly is the best!

“Waking up and not seeing your face in the bed next to me this morning just didn’t feel right.”
To which Kimberly chimed back: “You the bestest.”
In the picture, the stunning actress, 33, and the reality hunk looked close as they leant into one another to capture the adorable selfie.
It wasn’t just the cute pic that seemed to spark a lot of confusion, as many fans actually believed that Kimberly was Curtis’ Love Island ex Amy Hart.
One person exclaimed: “Though that was Amy, had to do a double take.”
Another agreed: “Is it just me (hear me out) she looks similar to Amy Hart. Sorry not sorry.”
While another penned: “Well he definitely has a type.”
The Irish Strictly professional dancer had previously dated Amy Hart as part of the ITV dating show.
During his time on the programme he realised that the former air hostess wasn’t the one for him and called it a day leaving Amy heartbroken.
After struggling to come to terms with the savage break-up Amy made the choice to leave the villa as she couldn’t face watching Curtis move on in front of her, when she still had feelings for him.
