This Morning’ s Holly Willoughby has promised ITV viewers that her and co-star Phillip Schofield will be there for them ahead of the second lockdown.
The 39-year-old presenter issued a heartfelt message to those watching at home on Monday after chatting to callers about how the new restrictions, which come in place in England on Thursday November 5, will affect their mental health.
Holly and Phillip, 58, chatted to viewers about their concerns ahead of the second lockdown, which led the blonde presenter to share some kind words with the nation.
The ITV beauty said: “We didn’t go anywhere during the last lockdown and we’re not going anywhere this time.

“We are here every morning for you. We did it last time and I know we can get through it this time.”
Holly reassured each of the callers that her and Phillip are not going anywhere as well as sending each viewer “so much love.”

Sitting far apart as they implemented social distancing, the pair explained they have been classed as “essential workers” and have a role to play in helping the public.
Phil said: “Let’s start off by explaining probably for the first time ever, why we are here today.”
And Holly added: “The government has classed us as essential workers for the time being, as we are here to answer your questions and inform you on what is happening.”
Phil continued: “We are running with a skeleton staff and for now on, with lots of people working from home. In fact, the mobile crew have brought the cameras through from GMB through a hole in the wall.”
He added: “There are millions of others quite rightly staying at home.”
