Jesy Nelson, 29, has confirmed she is leaving Little Mix after nine years because it had “taken a toll” on her mental health.
The singer explained that she found “the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard”.
She added: “I need to spend some time with the people I love, doing things that make me happy.”
Jesy has announced she will be embarking on a “new chapter”, which she isn’t sure “what will look like right now”.
