Liam Gallagher feared someone had come to stab him when he found slashed teepee

Liam Gallagher has told of his fear after seeing the teepee in his garden slashed and assumed someone had come to attack him.

The Oasis legend, 48, told Jonathan Ross on Saturday’s edition of The Jonathan Ross Show how he was prepared for the worst only to discover his tent had been destroyed by a rogue deer.

Liam said: “I bought a teepee at the beginning of lockdown – a Wigwam.

“I have had one before but a deer ran in it and battered it.

“It got slashed down the sides.

“I thought someone had come in to stab me but a deer was in there.”

Seeing the funny side, Noel Gallagher’s brother added: “I got one cheap last summer as there was no Glastonbury.

“But yeah, it got ruined it so I got a new one.”

At the start of the first lockdown, Liam kept fans entertained by sharing string of kooky clips online.

One such video showed him singing about the importance of washing your hands to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Rocking his iconic long Parker coat and bucket hat combo, the British music icon sang to the camera.

After Jonathan admitted he wondered if Liam had been struggling during that time, he replied: “Yeah, I struggle full-time, 24/7.

“It [life] is hard work in general but not being able to perform is hard and I was meant to get married but that was a bummer.”

However, the ongoing pandemic put an end to the plans.

Speaking in June, Liam said: “Yeah we’re getting married next year in Italy and it’s going to be mega.

“It’s been put back a year. It was meant to be next month, but they were saying you gotta wear face masks and I ain’t hiding this pretty face.”

He added to Chris Moyles on Radio X: “Poor Debs is not gonna wear a mask, it ain’t happening man.”
